Blue Swallow Necklace Bead Pattern

Get into the summer spirit with the Blue Swallow Necklace. The necklace is made up of a swallow brick stitched in turquoise and blue silver lined beads, suspended from a matching necklace of fire polished and bugle beads. The piece takes around 2 hours to complete. This bead pattern is made using Japanese Miyuki size 11 Delica beads and Brick Stitch is used. It is assumed the beader will be familiar with Brick Stitch. Peyote and Brick stitch bead instructions are available free on www.threadabead.com. Please note the pattern may not work with any other size and type of beads. There are 7 delica colours in total and the finished beadwork necklace is approximately 50cm / 19.5 inches long. 16 x 6mm Light Sapphire Crystals, 34 x 4mm Aquamarine Crystals, 18 x 6mm Silver Lined Sapphire Bugle Beads, 1 x 5mm Jump Ring, 1 x Lobster Claw Clasp and 2 x Wire Guardians are also required.
