Small 3D Beaded Poppy Brooch Bead Pattern

The poppy is a universally popular flower that comes in a varied array of colours and styles. Celebrate the poppy with this cute beaded poppy brooch. This beadwork poppy brooch is made using Brick Stitch and can be beaded up in around 2 hours. The pattern included options for 3 different colours of poppy - red, pink or purple but why not try blue, white, burgandy or even orange! This bead pattern is made using Japanese Miyuki size 11 Delica beads and Brick Stitch is used. It is assumed the beader will be familiar with Brick Stitch. Peyote and Brick stitch bead instructions are available free on www.threadabead.com. Please note the pattern may not work with any other size and type of beads. There are 4 delica colours in total and the finished beadwork necklace is approximately 4cm x 3cm 1 x 8mm black crystal and 1 x 20mm brooch bar part is also required. Please note it is also essential to use a thread that matches the colour of the poppy. It is also desirable, but not essential to use a Black and a Green or White thread for the other components of the poppy.
