Small Beaded Holly Brooch Bead Pattern

The holly is synonomous with Christmas, and is used widely as decoration during the festive holiday. Why not get in the spirit of the season by wearing a little sparkly holly brooch. This beadwork holly brooch is made using Brick Stitch and can be beaded up in less that 2 hours. Please note It is assumed the beader will be familiar with Advanced Brick Stitch as only guidance is given on how to create the holly leaf. This bead pattern is made using Japanese Miyuki size 11 Delica beads and Brick Stitch is used. Peyote and Brick stitch bead instructions are available free on www.threadabead.com. Please note the pattern may not work with any other size and type of beads. There are 2 delica colours in total and the finished beadwork brooch is approximately 3.5cm x 3cm 3 x 6mm Round Swarovski Light Siam crystals and 1 x 20mm brooch bar part is also required. Please note it is also essential to use a red thread to attach the berries. It is also desirable, but not essential to use a Green or White thread for the leaves of the holly. The pattern supplied is 9 pages and includes close up photo of the finished work, a colour chart of suggested delicas, a colour pattern and a numbered coloured pattern.
