Pretty Rose Bookmark Bead Pattern

Need a quick pretty gift for a mother, grandmother, friend or co-worker. This rose bookmark panel beads up very quickly and can be beaded in around 20 minutes. This bookmark makes a lovely gift for brithdays, Mothers day, anniversarys or even Christmas. You don’t even need to make a bookmark, hung from an earring fitting or key chain this pattern makes a very versatile piece of beadwork! Consider joining panels together to create even necklaces or bracelets! The pattern gives two bookmark options for the beadwork panel. One option uses a flat bookmark finding the other dangles freefly from a Shepherds Crook bookmark finding. This beadwork bookmark is made using Brick Stitch. Please note It is assumed the beader will be familiar with Brick Stitch. This bead pattern is made using Japanese Miyuki size 11 Delica beads and Brick Stitch is used. Brick stitch bead instructions are available free on www.threadabead.com. Please note the pattern may not work with any other size and type of beads. There are 6 delica colours in total and the finished beadwork bookmark is approximately 2.25 cm x 2.25 cm A bookmark finding or a 3.5 inch Shepherd Crook bookmark finding and 1 x 4mm crystal AB bead is also required. The pattern supplied is 10 pages and includes close up photo of the finished work, a colour chart of suggested delicas, a colour pattern, a numbered coloured pattern and instructions for adding the border and loop.
