This is a delightful piece that can easily be made in about 2-3 hours. The Star has a slight 3d effect and looks stunning on the Christmas Tree! The ornament is a 5 pointed star compromising of 5 diamond panels making up a Penguin form. Hanging from the star is a cascade of tiered fringe worked with small magenta and blue beaded beads and crystals. This bead pattern is made using Japanese Miyuki size 11 Delica beads and brick stitch is used. It is assumed the beader will be familiar with Brick stitch. Brick stitch bead instructions are available free on www.threadabead.com. Please note the pattern may not work with any other size and type of beads. There are 6 delica colours in total and the finished beadwork is approximately 4.5 cm x 13 cm (including loop and fringe). 3 x 8mm crystal AB beads, 1 x 6mm crystal AB beads, 11 x 4mm crystal AB beads, 1 x 4mm jump ring and 1 x wire guardian is also required. The pattern supplied is 14 pages and includes close up photo of the finished work, a colour chart of suggested delicas, a colour pattern, a numbered coloured pattern and assembly instructions (including fringe-work instructions).
