Santas Key Bead Pattern

Dear Santa, There’s no chimney for me For you to leave presents under my Christmas tree. I am leaving you out this special little key, So you can use the door when you visit me. By Lynsey James © 2009, All rights reserved So how does Santa get into your house if he can’t use the chimney? He needs a special Santa Key! Leave the key out for Santa with a special note. Once Christmas day comes use it as a decoration for your tree! Please note, do not use you own front door key, Santa can use any key that is left out as a Santa key Santa Key is a bead pattern only bead design. A 2.5mm split keychain and old key is required. Although any decoration can be added in the example shown red ribbon, 5 x jump rings and 4 x bells are used. This bead pattern is made using Japanese Miyuki size 11 Delica beads and peyote or brick stitch can be used. It is assumed the beader will be familiar with either Brick, Peyote or Both. Peyote and Brick stitch bead instructions are available free on www.threadabead.com. Please note the pattern may not work with any other size and type of beads. There are 10 colours in total and the finished beadwork is approximately 7.5 cm x 2.6 cm. The bead pattern supplied is 9 pages and includes a colour chart of suggested delicas, a colour pattern and a numbered coloured pattern.
