Boozy Santa Matchbox Bead Pattern

Men are always so difficult to bead for, this little matchbox cover beads up real quick and is guaranteed to be a treasured gift. This is one of my most popular gifts this year, everyone I have shown this to have demanded they be made one aswell!! The front beadwork shows Santa raising a toast with his sherry standing next to a table with a Christmas Pudding on it. The above heading says “Cheers”. Flip the matchbox over and the back beadwork shows a now very drunk Santa asleep still holding his sherry but sitting on the floor with a Zzzz caption. The table and Christmas Pudding have been knocked over by the intoxicated Santa. This little item becomes quite a conversation point when you are lighting your Christmas Candles!! This bead pattern is made using Japanese Miyuki size 11 Delica beads and peyote or brick stitch can be used. It is assumed the beader will be familiar with either Brick, Peyote or Both. Peyote and Brick stitch bead instructions are available free on www.threadabead.com. Please note the pattern may not work with any other size and type of beads. There are 9 colours in total and the each piece of finished beadwork is approximately 3.5cm x 5.2 cm. Please note the pattern uses a standard size matchbox of 3.5cm x 5.2 cm. The pattern supplied is 7 pages and includes close up photo(s) of the finished work, a colour chart of suggested delicas, a colour pattern, a numbered coloured pattern and assembly instructions.
