At ThreadABead we do enjoy a patriotic occasion. Whether it’s a visit to London to see the Queen, a visit to the Tower of London or even to celebrate a royal occasion at home – you need to ensure you have just the right fun jewellery to wear.
This pattern is of the Queen, in an outfit she typically wears at a Garden Party or opening, with a little corgi at her side and her trusty black handbag.
Don’t forget the queen always wears bright colours when she is out and about so she can be seen. Pick some of the brightest colours in your stash, maybe she even has a different outfit colour on ear each!
As it is beaded in the round it is quick to make up, so in next to no time you can have a quirky and fun pair of earrings to wear.
The design is padded with a tiny amount of wadding, giving it a slight 3d effect.
This bead pattern is made using Japanese Miyuki size 11 Delica. Round Peyote stitch is used but full detailed instructions are given, and no previous knowledge of the stitch is required. Please note the pattern may not work with any other size and type of beads.
There are 12 delica colours used in the pattern. A tiny amount of wadding is also required along with 2 x earring fittings.
Each finished earring is approximately 3.5cm (h) x 1.25 cm(w) – not including fitting.
The bead pattern supplied is 10 pages and includes step by step photo and graphic instructions. A word chart is also included.
