Introducing a new Halloween book to our library, a special poem for All Hallows Eve called “The Ghost, Witch and Snafflewick”.
Find out what happens to a quiet sleepy town when Halloween descends and how the main street changes when the monsters appear.
Mr Snafflewick does not believe in Halloween so when a ghost and Witch come to visit, he is not happy at all. Will the ghost and witch help Snafflewick appreciate what is a special and fun time for so many of us?
The story of the Ghost, Witch and Snafflewick was written and illustrated by Lynsey, inspired by her favourtite poem, “T’was the Night before Christmas” by Clement C Moore.
Included within the book are 12 original illustrations.
Our new style of beaded books come with pre-printed pages so you can make the books yourself. Each book has 28 pages and are simple and quick to make, taking around 3-4 hours to bead and assemble each one.
As usual with ThreadABead featured patterns we give detailed instructions, and, in this pattern there are 29 steps, making this pattern even suitable for beginners to beading.
This bead pattern is made using Japanese Miyuki size 11 Delica. Odd Count Peyoye is used but full detailed instructions are given, and no previous knowledge of the stitch is required. Please note the pattern may not work with any other size and type of beads.
There are 18 delica colours in total the finished beadwork is approximately 3.5cm x 3.75cm.
1 x 4mm Jet Fire Polished bead is required as well as thin card, ideally white in colour. Additionally, a scalpel or scissors and ruler is required along with a paper glue such as 2 in 1 Glue Pen or Quick Stix Glue Stick and a small piece of permanent double-sided sticky tape. A no tangle thread bobbin is also useful.
The bead pattern supplied is 19 pages and includes 29 step by step instructions along with templates and pre printed pages for the book, a word chart is also provided.
