Last year when we released our Easter wood wreath ornaments, we were asked if we had plans for a Mother’s Day version, of course we did!
As it’s for Mothers we thought we should go bigger and even better than our wreaths, so here it is the Mother’s Day wood bouquet!
Delica beads are stitched onto a wood form to make that perfect special and thoughtful gift. Not only that but the wood form comes with a stand it slots into so it can be displayed upright (and of course makes shipping easier).
This is a great pattern to use up Delicas or enable you to choose the perfect flower colours for the recipient of the bouquet.
This bead pattern is made using Japanese Miyuki size 11 Delica. Round Peyote stitch is used but full detailed instructions are given, and no previous knowledge of the stitch is required. Please note the pattern may not work with any other size and type of beads.
There are 10 delica colours in total and the finished beadwork is approximately 12.5cm (h) x 11cm(w). You could use more or less colours as required.
A small amount of wadding is needed along with a Mother’s Day Bouquet wood form. Note: We also have a version without the words Mother one it, just in case you would like to bead a bouquet for yourself or someone else instead, they make lovely birthday gifts too.
The bead pattern supplied is 16 pages and includes 35 step by step photo and graphic instructions. A word chart is also included where required.
