Beaded in round peyote, Buttercup, while diminutive in size, makes up for his small stature with intricate details that capture the spirit of a true steed.
Also included in Buttercups' design is a removable saddle and reins, so he is ready to go out for a riding trip.
And of course, how could we not also give you an option to make a majestic unicorn called Glimmer, with her gold horn and pearl necklace. We have also added instructions for optional wings, so you can even make a beaded Pegasus or Alicorn!
In this pattern we give full detailed photographic and graphic instructions to make the horse and unicorn, and there are 148 detailed steps.
This bead pattern is made using Japanese Miyuki size 11 Delica. Round Peyote stitch is used but full detailed instructions are given, and no previous knowledge of the stitch is required. Please note the pattern may not work with any other size and type of beads.
There are 5 delica colours in total for each version and the finished item is approximately 6.75 cm (w) x 7.5 cm (h) x 4cm (d).
2 x 4mm Jet and 5 x 3mm 24kt Gold Round Fire Polished are required for the horse and 2 x 4mm Jet, 7 x 3mm Pearl Shine Pink Fire Polished Round, 1 x 4mm White Glass Pearl and required for the unicorn. Both options also need polyester wadding.
The bead pattern supplied is 62 pages and includes 148 step by step photo and graphic instructions. A word chart is also included.
