What is a component pack?

A component pack is everything you need to bead one item for a pattern or set of patterns except the pattern itself. This is likely to include beads, needle(s), thread(s), findings(s) and additional items required in the patterns like wadding, pipe cleaners, acetate, double sides sticky tape etc. If items are required that are not within the pattern, we list this on the page, this is typically things like clear nail varnish, glue etc.

Why do you sell component packs instead of kits?

Sometimes you will find other companies sell kits where the pattern is included. We have found component packs to be much more popular with our beaders as a pack has many benefits over a kit, for instance:

• Saves on pattern printing costs, you can choose to print at home or follow the pattern on a computer/tablet. We do also offer the option to print the pattern for you if you need at an additional charge.
• You can make multiple items without needing to buy the pattern twice.
• Our patterns can be so much more detailed if we do not need to plan for them to also be included in a kit pack.
• You also get an electronic copy of pattern to store for a later date.
• You can be notified of any pattern corrections and obtain the corrected pattern.

Why are some component packs more expensive than others?

We price our packs all the same way, so if one is more than another this is because you are getting more in it.

Do you have component packs for all your designs?

Unfortunately, we have so many designs and it is just not possible to create component packs for them all, we do however stock all items you need our for designs so you can buy everything separately (on each pattern we will put a shop reference so you can type it in the search on the website and it will take you straight to the item).

If there is a component pack for a design, will you always sell a component pack for it?

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee we will. Component packs for new designs tend to sell out quickly and we prioritise the restocking of these over older designs. If a design is no longer as popular as we require to take up the resources for creating component packs, we will discontinue it. If you require a component pack for a design, we recommend you buy one as soon as you can.
